LESSONS
Lightfoot Horse Farm specializes in teaching lessons to beginning riders. We especially enjoy working with children - we learn so much from our younger students!
Lessons include not only horseback riding, but grooming, feeding, and basic horse care, along with safety and learning that horse "lingo" you're likely to hear around the barn!
Prices are $20 for 45 minutes, with a 4-lesson commitment to start. After a minimum of 4 lessons, your rider will be invited to join us for a 1- or 2-hour trail ride through Bidwell Park in Chico, CA. Trail rides are exciting and adventurous - always a favorite of our young riders! A 1-hour trail ride is $25, 2-hours is $40.
